Website access
When you access the website, the technical infrastructure processes data such as your IP address, access time, requested page, browser and device information, and security data. This is necessary to provide the website securely and reliably, prevent misuse and analyse technical errors.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interests are the secure, stable and technically reliable operation of the website.
Crew application
When you apply, we process the personal and professional information entered in the form, contact details, Instagram username, questionnaire answers and, if selected, the uploaded CV. The purpose is to review the application and contact you afterwards.
Where processing is necessary to take steps toward an employment or other contractual relationship, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where consent is given, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Security and abuse-prevention measures are based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cloudflare Worker and Cloudflare Turnstile are used for technical processing. Application data is processed in the internal n8n workflow, documented in Google Sheets and sent to Chernoevents by email. Uploaded CVs are stored in a private AWS S3 bucket and made available through a signed, time-limited link.
Storage period
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to review the application, communicate with you and, where applicable, establish or perform a contractual relationship, or while statutory retention and evidence obligations apply. Signed CV download links expire after 60 days. Data is deleted once the relevant purpose no longer applies, unless statutory duties or legitimate interests in legal defence require continued retention.
Cookies and local storage
The website stores your cookie choice and may store a manually selected language in your browser. Analytics and marketing services are currently inactive. You can change your selection at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
Recipients and international transfers
Data is made available only to the internal recipients and technical service providers required for the respective purpose. Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, transfers take place only in accordance with legal requirements, in particular on the basis of an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
